Claude Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) Training

Build, deploy and run production Claude solutions — from client discovery to executive demo.

Duration: 20 Days / 160 Hours | Level: Intermediate to Advanced | Format: VILT or Classroom | Hands-on: ~70% labs | Batch: 15–25

Overview

This programme trains engineers to do what a Claude Forward Deployed Engineer does: sit with a client, find the right problem, and ship a secure, evaluated Claude solution into production. Participants learn the Claude API, Claude Code, Agent Skills, MCP servers and the Claude Agent SDK, then deploy on Amazon Bedrock, Google Cloud and Microsoft Foundry. Alongside the build work, they learn the BRIDGE Method™ for discovery, solution storytelling, adoption and value realisation.

Stalwart Learning is a Registered Partner in the Anthropic Claude Partner Network.

This is our Forward Deployed Engineer training focused specifically on the Claude stack (Claude API, MCP, Agent SDK, Agent Skills). For the complete 25-day programme see the FDE Academy; for the consulting/client-facing skills alone see our FDE Consulting Skills training.

Capstone

Each participant or team takes one real enterprise problem from discovery to a deployed, evaluated Claude solution and presents it to a simulated client leadership panel. Examples: support agent over ticketing via MCP; contract review assistant with citations and human approval; CRM-connected sales-ops agent; engineering rollout with Claude Code and Skills.

What participants leave with

Use-Case Scoping Sheet, Reframe Canvas, Claude Solution Architecture, deployed MCP server and Agent Skill pack, Eval Charter and eval suite, AI Security Threat Model, LLMOps deployment pipeline, ROI model and Handoff Runbook.

Tools covered

Claude API, Claude Agent SDK, Claude Code, Agent Skills, MCP (Python/TypeScript), embeddings and vector search, Amazon Bedrock, Google Cloud, Microsoft Foundry, Docker, Git, CI/CD, eval and tracing tools.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a Forward Deployed Engineer?

An engineer who works directly with a client to find a high-value problem and ship an AI solution into production, owning both the technical build and the business outcome.

How is this different from Stalwart's Forward Deployed Engineer Academy?

The Academy is a 25-day, multi-platform programme. This course is a 20-day track built entirely on the Claude stack.

Is this an official Anthropic course?

No. It is designed and delivered by Stalwart Learning, a Registered Partner in the Anthropic Claude Partner Network.

Does it prepare participants for Claude certifications?

It covers much of the hands-on ground those exams test. Dedicated certification-prep courses are available separately.

Can the duration be customised?

Yes. Teams with strong Claude experience can take a compressed version, and the BRIDGE customer-engagement phase can run as a standalone module.

Is it available onsite?

Yes, as classroom training across India, or as live virtual training (VILT) for distributed teams.
